It's the first playing jersey in Parma's history to feature a sponsor, other than the shirt manufacturer. Indeed, it was in the 1981-82 season that, in Italian football, the possibility of including a sponsor on the front of the jersey was introduced.
It's the jersey of Murelli and Salsano, but also of the Parma-native Stefano Pioli, the talented Fausto Pari, the late Enrico Cannata, and the unforgettable striker of the team, Massimo Barbuti. In short, it's the crossed jersey: unique, unmistakable, unforgettable.
