The Parma Calcio’s 109th-anniversary shirt is inspired by the kit worn during the 2002 Copa Italia final against Juventus. Back in September, with the “Give voice to your passion” poll, Gialloblù had their say on various features adorning the shirt. A vote was held to decide the design of the side of the shirt, which bears a stylised graphic of the Coppa Italia trophy in gold on a blue background. For the first time in the Club’s history, the words of one of the fans’ chants have been printed on the inside of the collar, which reads “Siam sempre qui, insieme a te, coi gialloblu combatterem” (We’re always here, together with you, we’ll fight alongside the Gialloblù). On the nape of the collar, a design was chosen to celebrate the 20 years since that Coppa Italia title (2002-2022).
The jersey, which will be shipped in a special dedicated box, is available in limited supply and will be of benefit to charity. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the charity project Emporio Market Solidale, which was founded by a group of local volunteer associations to tackle rising levels of poverty in this era of economic and social crisis.
